About Dhela Zone.
Forest Stay Details.
Dhela opened to tourism in December 2014 and forms part of the Corbett Tiger Reserve landscape. Its mixed vegetation includes sal, rohini, haldu, bahera and kusum, creating habitats that reward attention to both the canopy and the forest floor.
Jeep safaris use the Dhela entry area. Tigers, leopards, Asian elephants, sloth bears and varied birdlife occur here. Their presence makes the habitat interesting, but does not create a promise of sightings on any visit.
For an overnight enquiry, confirm the accommodation name and whether it is inside the reserve or outside near the zone. Dhela appears in the reserve’s night-stay pricing schedule, while individual room allocations still depend on current booking availability and permissions.
Day-safari access is described as year-round subject to conditions; night-stay operations follow their own schedule. Ask for the applicable season, entry instructions, meals, room facilities and vehicle arrangements in writing. A suggested itinerary remains flexible until the stay and permitted activities are confirmed.
