About Jhirna Zone.

On Corbett’s southern edge, Jhirna combines deciduous and secondary forest with open grasslands. This mix of habitats makes a jeep safari as much about the landscape as the wildlife, from a rustle in the undergrowth to birds crossing a clearing.

Sloth bears and wild elephants are among the animals associated with Jhirna. It is listed for year-round day visits, making it an option to explore outside some other zones’ visitor seasons. Safe roads, weather and current forest permissions still determine access.
