Hathi Dagar, also written Hathidagar or Hathidangar, is a regional eco-tourism safari area associated with the Terai West Forest Division near Ramnagar. Its wooded landscape provides another way to explore the forests around Corbett without booking a core tiger-reserve route.

A guided drive focuses on the forest itself: tall trees, changing light and the possibility of wildlife along the track. Elephants and other animals move freely through the landscape, so sightings are never assured. Keep a respectful distance and follow the registered guide’s instructions.

Entry arrangements are managed separately from Corbett Tiger Reserve. Ask us to check the current gate, permitted session, vehicle allocation and rules for phones or cameras before your visit. We will explain confirmed arrangements and inclusions before you decide.
